Description: 

Over the previous years, this series has evolved into a highly popular lecture format for GSLS doctoral researchers of all sections. They focus is on the patho-physiological mechanisms underlying the disease phenotypes and possible therapeutic intervention strategies.This year, Clinical Medicine will cover a wide variety of topics.We have assembled a group of lecturers from both basic research institutes and patient-oriented clinical departments who will give insights into their work every Monday.

  • Place: Lecture hall or seminar room 01.002/004, RVZ/IMIB/ZINF (Josef-Schneider-Straße 2, Building D15, 97080 Würzburg)
  • Time: SS 2023: 8th May - 17th July 2023, always Mondays, 16:15 to 17:45
  • GSLS Doctoral Researchers attending this lecture regularly can credit this series as a scientific lecture towards their study program. In order to receive a certificate of participation you have to attend 7 out of the 9 individual lectures. Participation will be documented by a staff member.
  • For FOKUS Life Science and ERASMUS students only (to get 5 ECTS):

Elaboration of 10 pages in addition to attending the lecture. This should be in the form of a summary/review of your favourite lecture(s) (A4, font: Calibri, font size: 11pt, line spacing: 1,5). Send your summary to gsls-info@uni-wuerzburg.de by 31st August 2023.
