Welcome to our Welcome Days registration form

The Graduate School of Life Sciences (GSLS) would like to welcome our new students into our programme. In order to help you to have a smooth start in the GSLS we invite you to take part in this welcome event. Please log in to register and note that each programme element you wish to attend must be booked individually.

Participation in the Welcome Days can be counted towards the category "Retreat/Summer School" if all of the following elements have been completed: introductory part, networking part "Project Pitch," participation in one of the Transferable Skills Workshops, participation in the Good Scientific Practice lecture.

Registration for scientific part

The introductory and networking part "Project pitches" on the first day is mandatory for Dr. rer. nat./PhD doctoral researchers, for medical doctoral students this is optional. But keep in mind: Upon complete participation (see above), the Welcome Week can be documented as “Retreat/Summer School” in your study book.

The lecture on "Good Scientific Practice" on the third day is a mandatory component of the study programme "Life Sciences" for all doctoral researchers as well as medical doctoral students.

Registration for the social part on Wednesday

Please note that if you wish to attend the guided city tour, registration is absolutely necessary! If you do not register, you will NOT have a place on the tour!
